Attire
Wayne-DuPage Hunt adheres to the following guidelines for attire:
Cubbing and Weekdays:
Coat: ratcatcher, tweed or conservative color 3 button (buttoned)
Vest: optional, canary or tattersall
Shirt: colored (not white) with necktie, stock tie or choker, turtle necks acceptable on weekdays
Breeches: tan, rust or earth tone
Boots: brown or black, field or dress (no brown or patent leather tops)
Red WDH polo shirts are allowed on Tuesdays in August or per the Masters discretion
Formal Attire for Weekends beginning with Opening Meet
and including Thanksgiving Day and Joint/ Castle Meet:
Gentlemen & Ladies without Colors:
Coat: 3 button formal black or frock (buttoned)
Vest: canary or tattersall
Shirt: white with white stock tie and plain gold safety pin
Breeches: tan, rust, buff or canary
Boots: Dress black
Gentlemen with Colors:
Coat: three-button scarlet with canary yellow collar and scarlet piping (buttoned)
Vest: canary or tattersall
Shirt: white with white stock tie and plain gold safety pin
Breeches: white
Boots: dress black with brown tops
Ladies with Colors:
Coat: 3 button black or navy with canary yellow collar and scarlet piping (buttoned)
Vest: canary or tattersall
Shirt: white with white stock tie and plain gold safety pin
Breeches: tan, buff, rust or canary
Boots: dress black or dress black with patent leather tops
Other appointments:

Traditional black, navy or brown velvet covered hard hat with harness

Non traditional helmets must be covered with a velvet helmet cover

Gloves are dark brown or buff leather or string

Hair is secured back and up with a hairnet

Hunt whip or crop may be carried, never stuck in boot

Rain gear at the Masters discretion

No Parkas or overcoats
